What Our Lifetime Workmanship Warranty Covers

Our warranty covers any defects or issues that arise due to workmanship on services provided by AAA Solid Foundations.

That means if something related to the quality or integrity of our work ever needs attention, we’ll take care of it—at no cost to you.
Covered services may include, but are not limited to:

• FoundationThe structural base that transfers the building’s load to the ground. More stabilization and underpinningunderpinning is the process of strengthening the foundation of an existing building or other structure. Underpinning may be necessary for a variety of reasons: The original foundation isn't strong or stable enough. The usage of the structure has changed. More
• Helical pile installation
• Concrete lifting and leveling
• Crack repair and waterproofing
• Wall bracing or reinforcement

This warranty applies for as long as you own your home, and in many cases, may even be transferable to new owners. Adding real resale value and confidence to your property.

What is Excluded in the Warranty

While our workmanship is guaranteed for life, certain exclusions apply to ensure fairness and clarity.

The warranty excludes:

• New damage caused by unforeseen external events (e.g., earthquakes, flooding, major plumbing leaks, or tree root intrusion)
• Issues arising from soil movement or ground conditions not addressed in the original scope of work
• Structural changes or additions made by others after our work is completed
• General wear and tear or materials not supplied by AAA Solid Foundations
• TelepostA telepost is the steel column extending from the concrete floor to the underside of the beam. This is used to transfer the load from the main floor to a footing under the basement floor. Their locations are based on the span of the beams, joists and main floor loads. More Adjustments, by us or others

If a problem occurs, we will thoroughly assess the cause to determine if it’s related to our workmanship. If it is, we’ll make it right—no questions asked.

Homeowner Responsibilities

For our Lifetime Workmanship Warranty to be honoured, there are several things homeowners must follow the following:

• Understand the Warranty Terms
• Maintain your Home and Property
  • Prevent water infiltration by ensuring eavestroughs are not obstructed or damaged
  • Ensure the property slopes away from your foundationThe structural base that transfers the building’s load to the ground. More
  • Ensure driveways, patios and sidewalks slope away from the foundationThe structural base that transfers the building’s load to the ground. More
  • Prevent low spots in the yard, prevent water from pooling around the foundationThe structural base that transfers the building’s load to the ground. More
  • Maintain caulking around foundationThe structural base that transfers the building’s load to the ground. More windows and doors
• Notify Us As Soon As Possible
  • Contact us in writing (email or letter) with a clear description of any issues
  • Include any photos or videos
  • Record dates when issues were first noticed
  • Provide access for inspections and/or repairs
• Avoid Unauthorized Repairs
  • Do not attempt to fix any issues yourself or hire another contractor before contacting us.
  • If we preformed Internal Water Management on your home, (internal weeping tileor Drain Tile. Usually a 4" flexible plastic tube with rows of holes/slits for water to enter. The tube is wrapped with fabric to prevent dirt and small stones from entering. The weeping tile is installed either inside or outside of the home at the base of the foundation. The drain tile will collect water and move it away from the foundation. More, sump pits, etc.), prevent damage to this work when refinishing the basement.
